“菠菜稳台子” User - (current students, faculty and staff)

  1. Select the “菠菜稳台子” Wi-Fi network on your phone, tablet or laptop.
  2. When your device prompts you, enter your 菠菜稳台子 username/password (Example: jdoe0311). This is the same user name and password used for e-mail and Canvas logins) and click ‘join’ or ‘ok’
  3. The next screen may ask you to accept a “Certificate” for “clearpass.菠菜稳台子.edu”.
    选择“接受”.
  4. You will then be 连接ed to the 菠菜稳台子 Network. This will 连接ion will be valid until your password changes.

Android平板电脑和手机:

  1. Turn on Wi-Fi and select the “菠菜稳台子“网络.
  2. Be sure EAP method is set to PEAP
  3. Phase 2 Authentication is set to MSCHAPV2
  4. CA证书:设置为'使用系统证书’
  5. For the field “Identity”, type in your username (Example: jdoe0311 This is the same username used for e-mail and Canvas logins. 不要包括 @菠菜稳台子.edu)
  6. Type in the password in the “password” field (same password used for e-mail and Canvas logins)

This specific Wi-Fi network is 未加密的. Unless you are accessing a web page with HTTPS in the address or using an application that encrypts the data being transmitted, all of your transmitted and received data will be sent in plain text and could possibly be intercepted by a third party.
